Statistics vs. Computer Science Minor

I am most likely going into a science/technology-related humanities major, but I really enjoy quantitative subjects as well. That said, I am looking to minor in either Statistics or Computer Science and was wondering which one is more useful in the average job (since I have no idea what I want to go into), either in the thinking and problem-solving methods involved in problems presented in the classes or in direct application (if there is any). Any input is much appreciated!

Depends on the type of job you are interested in. If you want to do research, a stats background would give you a leg up. If you want to work in tech, then get the programming experience. There’s no “average job”. Outside of research, it seems like programming experience will have broader application. And from a $$$ standpoint (not that that should be the deciding factor), other fields will probably pay more than research.
