Stats and Suggestions on Where to Apply for a Canadian Junior

Hey, so I'm a junior living in Ontario, Canada interested in applying to school in the states. My ultimate destination is to get into a prestigious med school like harvard, john hopkins, etc. So i was wondering if anyone could gimme some pointers as to where to apply based on my stats and such.

Grades. (Note that 80-100% is an A in Ontario)

Gr.9 80.13% (top 40%)
Gr.10 88.13% (top 15%)
Gr.11 latest term mark 92.5% (top 2.5%)
-Estimating that my GPA should amount to about 87% by the end of Gr.11

SATS
I've taken practice tests for the old one and it seems fairly easy. Averaging about high 1400s to low 1500s. Planning on preparing for the new one and maybe writing it in May.

EC's
-Track (9-12) Hurdles, triple jump. 2 consecutive team championships
-X-country (10-12) 2 consecutive team championships
-Leadership Club (10-12): presented morality and anti-racism workshops to neighboring schools
-Local University Mentorship Program (11-12): Currently participating in a research study related to the human diet with a prof.
-Hospital Volunteer Work (10-12): about 100 hours so far. Should be able to get about 200 by the time i apply.
-Space Design Contest (11-12): basically designing a space settlement, writing a report, presenting it.. final competition in May for the prizes!
-Violin (9-12): planning on sending a tape in.

Awards
-Duke of Edinburgh Award
-Honour Roll
-Should get a scholarship if I can maintain my current mark as I will be in the top 5 of the school.
-Numerous math and science contests where I did exceptionally well.

Other Stuff
-I've been participating in a lot of university programs for hs students in the summer. This summer I am participating in Shad Valley, a very well known and prestigious summer program in Canada.
-I've had a couple of jobs here and there also, stockboy, cashier, etc.

Anyways, any pointers on where to apply, and if you guys could share any resoruces where I can do my search for US colleges would be great!

thanks~

cmonnnn no takers??

From my point of view, you have a solid chance at top schools in the States if you can do well on the SAT's and SAT II's. I'm a junior from Ontario as well, and at my school, your Grade 11 mark would put you in the top 1% of the class of 300. I know from looking at some of the marks on CC, 92.5% in the U.S. may not be as impressive in a US high school as it is in a Canadian school. It is unfortunate though about your Grade 9 average, but I guess if the schools see your improvement, they will be impressed. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the schools you mentioned to judge your chances with a percent probability though.

However, I can say that those schools would be impressed by your acceptance to Shad Valley. I have a friend that attended Shad and was accepted to Cornell. I made the mistake this year of not applying to the program after being prodded by my principal to apply. So you have that going for you. Your EC's are also pretty good in comparison with other Canadian students.

I hope this helps. With those stats, I can say that you'd have a very good chance at getting into any program in Canadaif the US doesn't work out.
