Could anyone share the rough stats of past Scholarship winners?
Is someone with a 31 ACT doomed?
I’m not sure “doomed” is the right word; but given that the a 31 ACT is in the bottom 25% of admitted applicants, and that scholarships are even more competitive than admissions alone, I’d say the chances are very slim. That is not to say it’s impossible, but it has to be unlikely.
The selection process for merit scholarships is holistic, so your test scores shouldn’t be a deciding factor. Especially for the Rodriguez and Ervin scholarships, extracurriculars and community service will be much more important.
