Stats Freaking The Hell Out

i stuggle so much on the part 2s i can never ifgure out what to do expecually for ones that involve probability i can evenutally get all the hyp tests but when it comes to probability i either mix it up with binomal crap or just total blank out any sugesstions please im desperate.

Dont freak out, the test is easier than you think it's going to be. I went into it thinking I was going to get a 3 cause I realized the night before that I didnt know anything... Got a 5...

Calm done, breathe, you'll do fine.

:)

im so scared. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and this one problem is bugging the heck out of me..i would post it but it involves some reading and a data set

this may sound really stupid, but please i need help!

when do you use t-tests (i know that they're used when the sample size is <30, and when given a mean), anything else to know? and chi-square are only to be used for determiningg sigificance of quantitive data, but not for proportions, etc. am i right? HELP! (exam begins in 3 hours in Japan!)

I'm gonna have to ask you all to relax. It will probably be a lot easier than you think, and there's always the curve. If you panic, you'll probably just forget everything you've tried to memorize.

You use the t- distribution if you don't know the population standard deviation. You can use chi square for comparing two distributions, but you can usually also just use the two sample z-test, so if you want less to memorize just go with the z-test.

Wait... they have AP exams in Japan?

:)

thanks jml!!!!!!!! :)

yeah a bunch of them are adminstered at international schools, where the majority of the kids are american.....
