Wow, they got back to me a whole lot faster than I expected for an out of state.
Total crap SAT IIs, but those didn't get sent to Michigan. xD

date applied: 10/27

in-state

waiting on preferred admit Ross, along w/ ucberk, stern, wharton, mccomb. currently applying to lsa honors. I could've sworn I read somewhere that you can submit an essay similiar to one you've already submitted to umich as long as it fits the honors essay criteria. is that true?

Did UMich want a graded paper sent in? I did not read anywhere that they wanted it but after reading the above post, I remember my counselor saying something about that. However, my counselor, frankly, isn't very good at being a counselor (she's never heard of the CSS Profile), so I thought it wasn't necessary. Any thoughts?

Date D applied - Jan 18th
Date accepted - today.

She is so happy !! OOS, 4.2 w, mid 1300 SAT's. But SAT's only figured into a percentage, since it's a portfolio dependent program. Applied late because she wasn't satisfied with portfolio until then. Happiness at our house tonight.

Oh boy! Got in today! Application sent: December 8. File completed: sometime round Christmas. Accepted today. ACT: 27 GPA: UW 3.9 Only JV softball for two years, with intention to play soccer this year. Love of writing. Only two AP courses. Don't know how I got in! Woo-hoo!

Just got accepted (2/11), my application was complete on 12/21.
3.8 GPA (not sure what my umich gpa is though), 2260 SAT. Instate, okay essays, pretty iffy ECs. I only applied to two schools (Umich and McGill) and got into both of them in the last two days (!), so it's been a pretty exciting week.
