Stats of Elon Fellows/ Elon Honors

Can anyone who was accepted to the Elon fellows/honors tell me what your stats were?

This page has all the stats.

[Elon University // Fellows Programs](http://www.elon.edu/e-web/admissions/Fellows/default.xhtml)

After you meet the minimum requirements and apply to the fellows program than they look at your essay and general application. If you get through the first selection then they will invite you to the fellows weekend. You can compete for up to two fellows programs.

I get the idea that after the min. requirements they are looking for the students who are likely to excel in the program and that may be anything from brilliance, passion, creativity, commitment, or charisma.

Hope that helps

My daughter is an Honor’s Fellow-she is a sophomore. Her SAT was 2090 (CR 760, M 630, W 700). She was sixth in her class of about 220. Of her five AP classes (school didn’t offer that many at the time) she scored a 5, three 4s, and a 3. She interviews well, has a passion for learning, many EC’s, including positions of leadership, and had outstanding recommendations. She was also a NC Junior Elon Scholar. And she loves the Honors Program. Hope this helps.

I was accepted into the program.

-SAT = math (720), critical reading (700), and writing (780)
-GPA = about 3.9 unweighted
-Class rank in top 5%
-EC’s = band, various musical groups, etc.

My essay was fun to write. The topic involved inviting people (anyone you wanted) to a dinner party. I needed something creative like that :).

Good luck!

Daughter was accepted into Honors Fellows last year, but chose to attend another school (older sister will be a junior at Elon this year and loves it). She graduated 11 out of 178, GPA of 97+, ACT 31. ECs included years of devotion to dance, choral music, piano, and several service activities such as hospital voluteering.
