whao- no limit, you got your acceptance REALLy early! i sent mine nov 17 and im not expecting to hear from them until later in january... i hope i get it early too tho! do you have any insane stats/EC's? (cuz i kinda have average activities and stuff, with 3.8 and 1380 so i dont think im on their priority for reading apps)

well i have pretty "insane" ECs and my course load is "insane" as well.. but i think my ECs get me in to where i wanna go since my SAT scores aren't the highest

since i sent my kinda late, nov 17, anyone hear have any idea when i could get it in? would mid january be correct?

my mich gpa is a 3.4, my sats are 1230 680math/550verbal. i sent my app in early oct they recieved in oct 19th and started reviewing nov 2nd. i still havent heard. i am out of state, not a urm, great ecs and 3 honors fresh-junior year. senior yea i am taking ap physics, ap spanish, english and statistics honors. WUT DOES EVERYONE THINK... WILL I GET IN? i think i sent it in pretty early so i hope that helps and i know a lot of ppl from school got in with sats scoress as low as 1240 but there gpa's mite be a little higher. i nevr got below a B+ but unfortantely mich makes them 3.0's so i hope they take that into consideration too? ALEXANDRE WUT DO U THINK?

heyy does anyone think i have a shot at getting a decision notification during these next 2 weeks or are they pretty busy (sent it nov 17)?

i sent my app a month before and still havent heard... so 2 weeks may not b very likely

no one is responding to me ever can someone just post if they r reading this reply. i have asked many questions. is there a reason why people r ignoring me. haha. But if anyone agreees with me on this: if u get accepted it seems like it takes about 6 weeks to find out. but all the people that deferred from umich its taken about 2 months and little bit more. and i really have a feeling michigan doesnt accept ne one from out of state with a 3.7 or lower. hopefully not. alrite thnx!

Crusty, I thought I answered one of your posts. Your chances at Michigan are not that good. You are caucasian, out of state, applying relatively late and your stats are simply lower than Michigan norm. However, one never knows, and you are not out of Michigan's range, so all hope is not lost. I would say Michigan is a reach for you.

alexandre, if sending in my application on october 15th, and michigan recieving it on october 19th is late? than wut is early? and what is sending your app lets say on october 30th? or even January? Thanks again!

Crusty, applying early to Michigan means anytime between late August and early October. If you apply between mid October and lat November, you are applying relatively late. If you apply in December or January, you are very late.

However, I am not sure it would make a difference in your case. Your grades and scores are a little low by Michigan standards. Like I said, you have a chance, but I would not trust to hope. You are out of state and you are not an URM. Typically, Caucasian or Asian out-of-state students have SAT scores in the 1300-1500 range and GPAs un the 3.7-4.0 range.

1510, 800, 800, 750

Don't worry about it xjayz, with stats like those I'm almost positive you'll get in. Can you guys also post if you're considering the honors program or not? A lot of you guys have really good stats and I'd like to get a feel for what kind of group the honors program is gonna be.
