I thought he said ED I and ED II kids..

I read an article somewhere a couple months ago which listed the Tufts ED admit rate. As far as I could rememer, admit rate is close to 50%. SAT average was around a 1380.

(I know this is long- but I would appreciate it if everyone read this)

I was actually responding to wrathoffacilities' previous post regarding the overall admit rate, McDonalds- you don't need to be rude. Also- the ED rate I believe was something closer to 33%...it was definitely lower than last year's (I remember an alumni interviewer mentioning that to me...), and considering that the class of 2009's ED rate was 36%, an admit rate of 50% is simply way off.

I'm curious actually as to what article you are refering to...considering those numbers seem to be pulled out of nowhere. The SAT avg. of ED last year was 1380, but I remember the source mentioning that those, once again, went up, so the avg is probably closer to 1400 for this year's ED pool (I'm not saying these are exact- but it's definitely a better estimate than what was just posted above).

Also, to "MdDonalds"...you aren't fooling anyone. I was suspicious with the BlaBla name, but this is just too obvious. A few quick clicks of a mouse on this website can reveal more than what meets the eye. Interesting that your account was created a day ago...and within half an hour you posted in the Tufts, Notre Dame, and NYU forums. Interesting that PHOENIX also demonstrates a trend of posting in those schools' forums...and that he actually mentioned NYU Stern and ND as being among his top choices.

It is also very "strange" that McDonalds' first post in the Tufts forum was in the Tufts Syndrome category, where he responded by replying to quotes (something that Phoenix seems to do quite often), and innocently asked,

What about the people who used Tufts as a safety school and were "Tufts Syndromed"?

The second Tufts post has a similar theme,

Im not an admissions officer or anything, but you might have been overqualified and therefore fell victim to the Tufts Syndrome.

These both appear to be pretty consistent with Phoenixs views

PHEONIX, buddy- I don't know what kind of crazy agenda you have or why you spend so much of your time going out of your way to bash a school that you are supposedly not even likely to attend, but you're not accomplishing anything. You're simply embarrassing yourself and ironically, despite all of your claims that Tufts is full of bitter Ivy rejects, you're exemplifying a general bitterness about life to the fullest extreme.

You said in an earlier post:
"You sounded like a pathetic ivy-league reject trying to make yourself feel better by calling the admissions proccess "random". Is that why you're not "retyping what you had really said"?? :0"

(by the way, I could go on and on about your spelling mistake in that quote and condescend every detail as you seem to enjoy doing, but its not worth my time )

That tone isn't even worth responding to...you could present your argument in a much more compelling and mature way...but you have simply lost respect due to your childish banter.

As frustrating as your previous posts have been, I would at least have minimal respect for you as someone who had the confidence to say what he thought and back it up. However, coming from the guy who said this in response to the anonymity of internet forums:

"You're all nameless, faceless people to me, so I could really care less if you are "insulted". The internet is actually one of the only places where people could express true free speech, so why not do it?"

you are not only being hypocritical, but youre revealing an extreme insecurity, something that would actually justify your bizarre, patronizing behavior. Something that would be demonstrated by a bitter Ivy reject himself. Honestly, something is obviously bothering you that extends beyond the Tufts v. Dartmouth debate, beyond the admissions statistics and your classmates who chose Harvard over Tufts.

Reading this post of yours concerns me:

Personally, I'm considering Rice, Notre Dame, and NYU Stern. My ECs killed my application and I got wait listed or rejected to all my top choices. Hopefully, I'll be able to transfer into a higher Ivy or Stanford/Duke next year.

Youre selection of schools are phenomenal- and many would argue that they are just as good, if not better, than the Ivys. Yet, you still have this fixation with the Ivys and rankings. Its as if unless you are at a school that is in US News top 10 you will not get anywhere in life. To already have the attitude that you want to transfer before you even begin your experience at these extraordinary institutions is simply perplexing

To wrap things up you also said,

I find it funny how you guys on the Tufts forum believe that Tufts unquestionably the best school in the world, when many of you are bitter ivy league rejects. I'm just here to present the truth.

Well, my friend, you may want to rethink the recipient of that one. Also, maybe this post took 20 minutes out of my day but Im hoping that it is an investment for all of us in the long run and that you will reflect on your actual intentions and save us a lot of time arguing in the future. And, I think right now, after this little discovery of your various identities, Im here to present the truth

So, if I may end this post in a typical Phoenix "I'm going to put in a cute little smiley face to unsuccessfully attempt to convince people that my obnoxious comment was actually friendly" fashion:

Dude- You're being pathetic. Grow Up. ;) :D :)

I enjoyed that post, except that misplaced "you're" made me cringe :) I had a fleeting suspicion of the multiple identities as well, but it doesn't really matter. However, I would be concerned that a person as such would decide to matriculate - he'd be best be left behind in the yield attrition.

SAT average and stats.

Keep in mind that accepted students stats are generally higher than those that attend which will be included in the common data and rankings.

Regardless, the accepted student stats were quite impresive.

How was I rude? He was asking for the ED rates, and I presented it to him... The article was on the Tufts newspaper. I'm sure if you look for it, you will find it.

I dont know what problem you have with "phoenix", but chill out... Many people know about the Tufts Syndrome..

I'd be interested to see that article actually, would you mind sending over the link? I was unable to find it...

And dude- the whole adding a location since yesterday and posting random comments on other threads isn't going to change anything...I guess now that Pheonix was rightfully kicked off you can use your second name. Congrats CC Pro- and having a friend post for you as a messenger? I'm sorry- but that just furthered the immaturity level even more
