STATS or GOV

So next year, im guaranteed taking Regular English, AP physics, AP Bio, AP Calc A/B, and either AP Stats or AP Gov?
What do you think I should do since I might major in something related to Finance, so it might look better?
I was also thinking about taking Stats over the summer and AP Gov next year. Any suggestions?

Stats is going to be more helpful for finance and sciences. Colleges are not going to care if you take AP gov or stats, just that your strength of schedule is high.

thank you for the help

I agree with @TooOld4School

However, IF taking APGov completes a Core/GenEd at the colleges you’d be applying to, that can be helpful to a college schedule.

What is your major?

Why are you taking regular English? AP English can often knock off both semesters of Frosh Comp…which can be pretty labor intensive in college.

I’m majoring in maybe finance, or something chemistry related. I’m currdcntly taking AP Chem, and AP Environ. So next year completing all the lab sciences( bio and physics) but unless I somehow want to MAJOR in finance STATS might be good for me… so idk.
I mean taking regular English because I moved to a foreign country an drew stayed for 4years and came back, so My English isn’t fantastic, I’m definitely gonna mention that in my essays.

If you don’t take AP gov what would you take for a social science /history?

Regular gov, and then I would do ap STATS, or AP Gov and no stats

You should take stats in college no matter what so either you take AP stats to 'preview ’ the college class or you take AP gov, get the credit, and take stats from. Scratch.

AP Gov is probably the easiest AP class I’ve taken, and it’ll most likely knock out a gen ed.

Personally at my uni, I had to take a calc-based Stats class for my major, and AP Stats wouldn’t cover that.

Take whatever you are interested in, whichever has the better teacher etc. It will make no difference in terms of college admission.

I’ve decided to take AP Gov, and take into to Stats over the summer at a Junior College this year. How do you guys think?

Sounds good!
