AP Gov or AP Stats?

What the title says. I'll be a senior next year, and am planning on taking AP Lit, AP Spanish, AP Calc, honors bio, plus choir and p.e. I'm trying to figure out whether I should go with Gov or Stats for the last period.

My sequences so far have been

Honors geometry-->Honors algebra II-->Honors precalc

(and for sure AP Calc next year)

Civics-->AP US-->AP World--> ???

Do you think colleges will mind if I take 5 math classes but only 3 social studies-esque ones? I'm leaning towards Stats because 1) Gov is a debate-based class, which I hate, and we get graded on our contributions, and 2) I love my precalc teacher, who also teaches Stats. I do well in math, but overall I'm more of a humanities person (planning to major in English, probably at a LAC), so...

Does anyone have experience with either one? Any opinions?

Thanks!

I would suggest takind Stats, as you are already leaning in favor of it, and self-studying Gov if possible. Stats is also very useful in most professional fields.

I'm taking both now - government is uber-boring and stat is uber-awesome. Just my input though.

i wanted to take both but my schedule didnt allow for stats. im taking gov and i love it. i say, choose based on the teacher at your particular school, because whether you have a great teacher or not is so important.

Go with stats. Most majors require it, and this could fill your college requirement.

go with Stats
