Stats or Spanish Need Help

I have to choose by Thursday if I should do AP Stats or Spanish V. I will be taking AP Calc BC next year, I don't know if i would have a math overload with both Stats and Calc BC. I would much rather take Stats than Spanish. What should I do?

This is for senior year?

by "math overload," do you mean too many math classes in the eyes of colleges? if so, don't even worry about it. they like to see commitment and passion for something specific. plus you'll enjoy it more--if you had to select between the two, i would go with two math classes.

preferably you would just take both, since it's important to have four years of a language (but this depends on where you're applying).

(i'm assuming you're going to be a senior.)

definitely do what you like, if all your requirements have been met.

Yes, I am going to be a senior. It's going to be interesting next year because I am in both the Spanish and Math clubs. Which one will win be over? LOL

Most colleges don't even count AP Stat as a math class, you should 100% percent go for Spanish.

Spanish! I agree with southeasttitan; Stat isn't really that important of a math class at all (in fact it's where all the people who flunked out of Alg 2 go in my school). It'd be best to get in as many years of foreign language as possible.

A lot of people I have asked at school said to go with the easier class, the problem is that both of the classes are ridiculously easy at my school. Good for me in the long run.

are you serious? ap stats is one of the most pointless classes to be deemed as "ap". it is ridiculously easy and i cant really see any relevance to the real world (since that is the only thing left since most colleges dont even use the credit) because everyone can analyze data. i am angry every single day i leave that class (which happens to be my last period).

i take ap spanish and i LOVE it! no matter what happens the material you soak up in that class will forever benefit you esp with the changing demographics of this country

sorry if i am too late!
