Status Update?

My brother got his acceptance page on the UF status page. I'm still waiting to see what happens with my stauts..its giving me the "We have completed a preliminary review of your application..."
We both applied at the same time, both sent the same scores, both sent the transcripts at the same time, we both applied for Summer B.
He's got a lower SAT (1160) I"ve got 1230, he's got a 3.9 school uw gpa, i've gota 3.8 but
I've got 5 ap classes, he has 2.
He has one EC than I do but we both have a job and same Volunteer hours...anyone else getting the "We have.." message?

i GOT THE same thing n i have no idea what to do now

some others said they do too, i'm not sure, could be the uf server itself.

RE: our daughter, we got the same "We have completed a preliminary review of your application..." and we sort of felt we were out of luck on getting any sort of decision this weekend but the post where one got confirmation of acceptance and similarly situated sibling got the foregoing gives me a little hope and makes me inclined to keep checking back. In addition to that comment she got something about a transcript from a community college (she's dual enrolled) being received but "unevaluated" - we're thinking that is the hold up - really disappointing as the suspense is killing me.

How about this:

On one check status link i get "preliminary review of your application for admission"
and shows that I got 2 transcrips "UNEVALUATED" that were recieved around 15 days ago.

On second check status I get rejected but it doesnt even show status of transcrips or "UNEVALUATED" thing (i mean it didnt show that yesturday!)

well if you have second checked the status page and have received a decision, then that is all you should see, not your material receipts that you've sent in. Just acceptance or denial.

We got the same "preliminary review of your application" status...unchanged! Don't know what is going on!

I tried calling, but the office of admissions is closed. If I got a rejection notice and it disappeared 3 minutes later, does that mean that a mistake was maybe made?

iM STill gettin the same message
its killin me

keezy@@@
two different "check status"
http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/
University of Florida Admissions

No I checked through two different "check status" links, one from the very pretty colorful page and another from which turns out to be not colorful. University of Florida Admissions

The non-color showed me always the date they got the transcrips (half evaluated, half not which I sent after they requested ----> they got them late on Jan 25-30). http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/

The color one showed me that I got rejected. BUT before that this type of link did not show me that half of my transcrips "unevaluated"

Strange? what should I do?

28,850 people tried logging on to one website at the same time. As you see that didn't go well at all. I, sadly, was rejected from UF. I wish all my fellow "rejecties" and now Gators all the luck in the world! Here is to the best four years of our lives!

ok i see what you saying; i guess you have to wait but i will tell you, when i went to a conference at uf they said that december was the last month to get everything in, however some admission officers will say if you have an updated transcript (excluding senior mid reports), then send them, i do not know your decision, but if you do not find out by tonight, then tomorrow morning hopefully. of course no one wants to wait, but you may have to.

Go to University of Florida

Instead of going to "Check Status", click the ISIS tab on the front page...(its toward the right around the middle of the page)

Log in through there....

Then click "Charges" (its a tab on the left)

If you owe money your in, if not.....sorry

yes just check your fines.

If you owe nothing (ie no admissions deposit), they don't want you or your money.

Sadly that's the truth

i tried to check charges and it said none but I already checked and I was accepted

Thank you for that... hope still alive

Guys go through that link, it wouldn't show me my decision but after logging in through there I am very pleased to say I am a new member of the gator nation!!!
If it says you're already logged in, log out and log back in. Keep trying, hope to hear some more good news from you guys :)

I don't see where the fines tab is, I've logged in but I don't see anything as in fines, i see a bunch of tabs on the left but they are like placement, records, financial aid

i tried the link above after checking my status for three hours and I've been accepted!
Congratulations to everyone else and for others that may not have gotten their decision yet, Good Luck.
:)
