My daughter and I are on pins and needles trying to understand why she has not yet been issued a decision from UF. I'm sure everyone here that has UF as their #1 choice was anxiously awaiting last night. We stayed up until midnight checking every 1/2 hour or so. Now at 2:15 pm Saturday, we still don't have a decision. I just found this site while searching for any info regarding this situation. I was under the assumption all the decisions were made and posted Friday at 6pm. All of her application requirements have been complete since October 10. I called about a month ago to confirm. We have no choice but to wait, but it would sure be nice if the system was updated to tell you something was going on. From where we sit, it looks like they forgot about her. I hope this means she is still in the mix for any final slots, versus they just havent gotten around to inputing a rejection. She is a standard HS Senior, so there is no issues with transfer or dual enrollment. I wonder how many applicants are in her shoes, still waiting. Her #'s and extras seem in range with many who were accepted and rejected. If waiting avoids rejection, I'm all for it. I never realized they might still be processing decisions after the decision date advertised.

So sorry for your horrible night to say the least! The only thing to do is wait until monday and call admissions. However, they will be very, very, very busy fielding calls such as yours and others from admitted students and those students that were not admitted and want to appeal. It seems that everything was in order…must have just been a glitch. sorry.

The same thing happened to a classmate of my daughter’s last year. It took them until late in the following week to get to the bottom of it, but she was accepted. I hope you have the same experience!

Thanks for the responses. I wish I knew if she was still being considered, or if it is a system glitch with her account. I just dont think they would be working on decisions that were supposed to be posted yesterday.
