Stay at UVM or transfer to BC

Hello,

I am a rising soph at University of Vermont and I am a Vermont resident. I go to UVM for nearly free (10k per year). I am in the business school studying finance but the program leaves a lot to be desired. In terms of recruiting, UVM has no major players on campus to interview business students.
I was accepted to Boston Colleges CAS (econ) as a January transfer. As a loose estimate, I will probably go into 50k of debt for BC for 2.5 years left of remaining college. Is BC good enough to get me the job I desire in finance and furthermore will a future job from BC cover the large student debt. Or should I stay at UVM and risk getting a mediocre job??

Also, can I still get a good job from BC and transfer there even if I am not in CSOM?

In summary, is BC worth around 50k in debt.

Please Help!

??

In short … NO!

I’m a bit of a highly-selective school snob however I would not recommend any student taking on more than $25k-$30k in debt for any undergraduate school … so NO it’s not worth $50k in debt.
