So I have been talking to this girl for a few months everyday after school, and I really like her. And then all of sudden there's this sophomore that comes up to us when we're talking, and starts talking to her. It's obvious that he's more there to talk to her and get to know her than to talk to me. I've known this sophomore since I am president of the Science bowl team and he is one of the members, but the girl I like is also a sophomore, while I am a senior. It really made me mad today, all of my other senior friends know to not interfere when I am talking to this girl, why can't this sophomore get the point????? I really don't want him talking to her, I want to enjoy my last year with her before I go to college!

How do I tell him to back off, in an acceptable way???

I don’t want to seem like a fat ho, but y’know…

1.) She’s not your girlfriend, don’t freak out. Other guys can talk to her, she’s just not automatically glued to you.
2.) Why not go for someone your age or older? She’s a sophomore, you’re a senior. You’ll be in college, she’ll still be in high school. It wouldn’t work out, unless you go to a college nearby.
3.) Just tell the guy that she’s pregnant with your baby.

since they’re both sophomores they probably have alot of classes together so just a little time after school isn’t going to be that big of a deal to her. and if she realizes/finds out that you get that upset over a guy talking to her she’s more than likely going to freak out and not talk to you anymore

Stop being such a beta. Dude, she’s not even your girlfriend and yet you’re getting jealous when she talks to any guy? Don’t be so insecure, girls can sense it a mile away and it’s a huge turnoff for them. Even if she was your girl, you still need to give her space.

You need to have the confidence to not think, but know that you are the *****. Girls love a guy who’s secure enough in himself to not worry about his girl cheating on him or anything.

I used to be just like you until I realized what I was doing and that it was actually pushing girls away from me. Now I realize that I am the alpha, and if she wants to go run off with some beta, then it’s her loss and on to the next girl.

^ That’s a quality link. I’ve read up on some of the PUA stuff and it’s gold. It’s not a guide that will magically get you girls, but it can help someone turn their life around for the better.

^^ I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m trying to give OP real-world advice that will help him out for the future.

do you need to be explained the differences between a girlfriend and a friend that’s a girl?
but i understand your pain, dude. like after i hooked up with this kid M, we never talked again but i still stalk his facebook and get annoyed whenever he talks to a girl. fmmll

Sorry. I didn’t realize the context you were using “beta” until I just read your post thoroughly.
Indians say “beta” in a very sarcastic tone, which is what i thought you had. MY B
