Step Grandpa=Legacy?

I was wondering if my step-grandfather going to Northwestern makes me a legacy. never known the real one. if no, that really sucks because the rest of my family went to public school! thanks guys

Hmm. Aren't step-parents usually considered legacies? It would make sense then that you could put your step-grandfather if that so happened to be true.

It couldn't hurt you put it down on your application if you can. Just know that alumni relations don't really come into play unless that relation donates a large sum of money to the college/university or is an important political or social figure cough George Bush and his son cough :)

^ agreed .
