Stephen M. Ross school of buisness (?)

Okay, I thought it was just LSA, thanks forgiven.

Great, there's 11 spots open for transfers... now i'm starting to wonder if I should bother.

i got in.

if i can, i'm sure you can.

i don't know about 11 being the number this year, but i'll let you know after orientation. there's a special orientation for external transfers right before the whole 3 year bba orientation. i'm interested in seeing how many people are gonna be there.. haha.

Yeah, a normal (albeit super-smart) person such as yourself isn't as high on the weirdness scale as one might expect on this site.

I loved the whole "hook up" conversation you had with some other math folks, although I didn't comment.

You seem to have a foot in both the normal and the nerd world. I guess that's why everyone seems to cotton to you. I, on the other hand, seem to cause sparks to fly without even trying... although sometimes I do things just to see the sparks fly... I guess I'm just not a nice as you!

Ask how many external transfer applicants they got for business, I kind of want to know what kind of a acceptance rate we're talking about here.

Don't doubt yourself, if you got in that means you did something great at your college/high school.

yeah.. i've been on the transfer board on cc for quite some time and i haven't really heard of many people applying to ross.

Anhydrosis2000, I must say that "hooking up" is now a part of my everyday vocabulary. Whether or not I'm using it correctly, I'll never know.

And sparks are good sometimes.

Meh, sorry for any confusions Christine. I apollogize.

By the way, could somebody inform me about the characteristics of Koonce? He requested a personal interview and meeting with me during my orientation, so I plan to have a general comprehension of his personal attributes prior to encountering him for the first time.

Thanks.

Lockz. You mentioned that the admissions for the business school is highly competitive, my GPA is high, and will the fact that I have my own BUSINESS ( hope i spelled it right, thank you ;) ) and plus I work in the country's most well known furniture shop, in the marketing department help me during the admission process?

I strongly believe that the start of the 3-year program will make the school somewhat more "transfer friendly." Of course, this is complete speculation and based on some observations of the process this year. I also believe this because it would be impossible for a student to do what I will have done when I start at Ross in the fall: transfer into LS&A for a year and then cross-campus transferring into Ross (circumventing that 3% external transfer rate).

Thanks for the info SoccerZoo. Yeah, I can't transfer into LSA and apply, so I figured they would allow external transfers a bit more, oh well, I can only hope!

DOLO2, when I mentioned the need for a high GPA, I was referring to college GPA. But, yes, the things you mentioned should help you some what if you apply for prefered admission.

does anyone do premed/business?

PA and those who apply winter of 1st year get in at the SAME exact time for the 3-yr BBA program at Ross. either way you enter into the same program. difference is the security and a few extra priveledges freshman year like being able to access the bschool library and being able to take 3 credits at the bschool 2nd semester and being able to use their job search system.
