School stereotypes:

^washington state?

Yep yep. And tbh, a lot of those are true. Idk about eco-friendly, but there are a lot of hipsters and Starbucks in Seattle. There’s also too much rain for my taste. Not too sure about rate of suicides, by I can understand why.

I think it would be cool to live in the Pacific Northwest. Is it as pretty as it looks?

The Portland area seems cool too. I really want to see the Columbia river gorge.

@SteelTrapMindset: Your college will always = “where Gatorade came from” in my mind.

@Mascara: Never been to the Pacific Northwest but I’ve always wanted to pay it a visit as well. I think I’ve seen some Discovery documentaries about the wild life there that made it seem mighty appealing to me.

I must say I have no need for the hipsters of Portland or Seattle, however cool those cities may be. I’ve heard Eugene is a cool college town, but I can’t imagine it beats what we have here so I don’t know that I’d care to see that place either. No offense. The rural parts seem absolutely gorgeous though.

HS stereotypes: 2400 SATs, 25+ valedictorians every year, 5.0 GPAs, full of Asian nerds on graphing calculators all day and nothing else going on, ****ty sports teams–except for badminton, everyone has three career choices: engineer, doctor, lawyer; super competitive academically, boring, lots of cheating.

California ppl aren’t all fake

State: Well, you have to use that world carefully. Liberal enclave. It’s difficult to decide it there are more problems created locally or nationally there. Known for having one great school and a ton of not-so-great ones. Some might say it’s the center of the universe. Very frump styles are the norm. Traffic sucks. History reigns supreme.

Having said all that, I still love where I’m from.

Country: probably the one with the most stereotypes other than the States.
The stereotypes are so well known that they’d be a dead giveaway

@snorgasbord? I’m thinking maryland or new york.
