Stern application question

I just read something odd about admission to Stern:

(the following pertains to all of NYU)
The SAT Reasoning Test or;
The ACT (with Writing Test) or;
Three SAT Subject Test scores (one in literature or the humanities, one in math or science, and one non-language test of the student’s choice) or;
Three AP exam scores earned prior to senior year (one in literature or the humanities, one in math or science, and one non-language of the student’s choice)

Note: Applicants to the Stern School of Business who choose to submit SAT Subject Tests or AP Exam scores must provide a score from a mathematics examination.

According to the note, if I have 4 AP exams and no SAT2's (none in math), would I not be able to submit my AP exam scores at all?

I have 3 5's all in history and a 4 in Lit so it would definitely hurt my chances to Stern if I couldn't submit them. I am taking both AP Stat and AP Calc senior year, and I took IB Math last year and got a 5/7. Could I submit the IB results in lieu of a math SAT2/AP so that I can show off my AP scores?

Thanks

You can submit all that you want. Those are just minimum requirements.

You can submit all of your tests. You just have to fulfill at least one of those requirements.

So the note is completely meaningless or what?

It’s meaningless if you’re going to submit the SAT I test or ACT. But if you opt to not send those and only send 3 SATIIs or 3 APs, then one of the 3 must be math.
