Stern Business School

Would the fact that I only took one AP test (self-studied) be a factor in applying to Stern Business School? I am taking 5 APs in my senior year (next year). I was not given the opportunity to take any APs. I got a 4 on the world history.

it's okay. i took a few ap tests before my senior year but blew them off. the scores weren't pretty until my senior year anyway.

i took no ap courses and no ib and no honors courses and i still got in stern scholars.

how is that Ivy poison....are u intl student? B/c I bet I can go toe to toe with any Stern Scholar...and i myself was not named a Stern Scholar... (please don't take this as abrasive...I truly believe it...besides everyone at Stern in bright....)

I live in NYC. And how do you become a Stern Scholar?

yes i am an intl from canada. however my school ran a full-ib program that i chose not to take back in grade 10.. The other stern scholar i know from my city was in full ib.

eji: they just pick you. i'm convinced that internationals get picked late, cause me and the other dude from my city didn't get stern scholars until late july. and the only ups-overnighted me the brochure this morning (i asked for it yesterday). the package also had a pair of cheap nyu stern flipflops ;0)

Congratulations, IVYPoison. :) OP, if you were unable to take AP's because of school policies, then I'm sure you'll be fine. Show a remarkable first semester, and if you're applying regular you shouldn't be at a disadvantage.
