<p>How is the grade inflation/ deflation in the arts and science program? For like bio majors.</p>
<p>was talking to a friend today, he told me that the Stern curve is being changed to be a bit more uniform across the school and at the same time a bit more lenient in its application / percentage values. He heard this at one of those dean's meetings, so I'd tend to believe him. Besides, the current "Stern curve" is really derived from the Finance department, the rest of the school kind of adopts their own little version of that, by professor.</p>
<p>there's been talk, but I don't think there's been any action... anyway, there is no real Stern curve currently; just a finance curve, and it's pretty close to how scores for a class of average difficulty should be.</p>
<p>No, I really don't think that making my grade lower than I deserve, from my hard work and studying, is the right thing to do.</p>
