<p>I got a 2. Neither the e-mail nor the application status page mentions if I am able to get an interview. Should I call the admissions office?</p>

<p>My Eli message said they sent a letter with the info... but I never activated. So they sent an e-mail today and ta-da!</p>
<p>I called up 1-800-skullnbones and hit 3 for "secrets and cheats". They automated voice mentioned that...</p>
<p>2's are part of the multi-hook pile. (Likely)
5's are single hook. (moderate chance, mainly defered)
7's are no hook. (Instant reject- unless you have a .1 extension)
7.1's are no hooks, but you checked no financial aid (Highly likely)
9's are asians with robotic objective scores
4's are asians without perfect objective scores, and are auto rejected.</p>
<p>3's are people who didn't report their race. They are sent to a special investigation unit.
They search your records till they find your race and then send it off to the corresponding admissions committee. If they can't find it... you get put with the asian pile.</p>
<p>.urm's are URM's who get sent to the special adcom who is really nice with a 87% accept rate</p>

<p>Don't stress out too much about missing items. As one of the admissions officers told me, the info we see on the website is nothing like what they see over in New Haven. If you sent something in, 98.5% of the time it's there, it's just not listed on your end of the screen. If you really are sure it didn't arrive just send another copy, they'll just toss out the extras.</p>
<p>I still haven't received my eli account either, though I do have an interview scheduled. At least I'm not completely out of the loop =)</p>
