I've pestered both of my teachers to FAX in their recs again, and they both claim to have done so. However, axess still shows that I'm missing Teacher Evaluation 2. What to do? :(

I have the same exact problem. My teacher faxed it in twice and it still shows up as missing. I emailed the admission office last night to see if there was anything else I could do to make sure they get the evaluation. I'll let you know if they respond.

Well hopefully Stanford is still processing it...

Wasnt the admissions office supposed to be closed from 26th onwards?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

The same thing happened to me, so I told my teacher and she called them (She has faxed it several times and it has still been listed as not received). She said she was able to talk to a person on the teacher/guidance counselor line, and they said they did have it, they just have not sent an update to the admissions department or something. So they probably have yours, too.

haha, same thing happened to me.

except when I went to ask one of the teachers, he was like, "****, I thought it was end of November not beginning of November" hehe. faxed it in on monday and it showed up in the database on tuesday

email Stanford. Credentials@stanford.edu or something. They replied to me within 24 hours.

^LOL @ zephrya

Don't worry, I had this problem too. When my recommendations showed up as having not been sent, we called up and left a message letting them know that the recommendations were sent in the same package as my high school transcript. They called back the next day and said they had accidentally misplaced them.

Last year on Nov 21, my S received an email from Stanford saying that they were missing one teacher recommendation. We know it had been sent, since we sent it ourselves in the envelope with the required labels. The other rec that we sent at the same time (in a different envelope) had been received.

The Stanford email requested that my S fax or mail a copy ASAP. He faxed a copy immediately, they received it and he got admitted in December.

I don't know if they ever found the original, but the faxed copy seemed to do the trick.

geekprideyo, I suggest you get the teacher to give you a copy and let you fax it.

Good luck!
