Still unsure about this school? Already got accepted

So I am a resident of Washington state and I got accepted into the college of science and engineering. I’m really happy that I got into the major I wanted right away! (As UW, getting into the college of engineering is VERY competitive for freshman applicants).
I also really like the out of state tuition costs. $22,260 for tuition? That’s crazy cheap. Plus my ACT and GPA were really high so I might get a scholarship which might make it even cheaper.
I want to go out of state. I hate Seattle. But does this school have a good college experience? Good employers? I am also applying to schools like Cornell and Vanderbilt, and I would like to save money but if it’s worth it I would pay $10,000 or more to go to Cornell. I plan to study aerospace engineering and I saw that the U had a respectable engineering program. But how does it compare to other schools?
I not only want to have a good job after college (I don’t know if I will go to graduate school), but an amazing college experience. Studying abroad. Doing research. Joining a lot of clubs and meeting a lot of new people. Can current students tell me how they like the U? And would it be worth it to go to this school versus others like Cornell? The price of attending this school really impresses me

You will pay double - not just $10k more to go to Cornell or Vanderbilt unless you fall under financial need and they meet full need. Cornell is not in or near a big city so the experience would be very different in that respect - Vanderbilt would be a bit more comparable and with milder weather. UMN has a great first year orientation program - my S made friends immediately and says everyone on his floor is friendly. It’s a large university so lots of clubs and one of the largest study abroad programs. Minneapolis also has a lot of employers as well as being one of the areas with the best job growth in the country. While classes are large, S says all of his professors and grad student (has one for a class) are very good and accessible. We were also impressed with the price - it’s less than our state flagship.
