Hi everyone after looking at this discussion I decided to call UCF since I submitted all required documents by January and have still not received a decision. The man who answered only said UCF operates on a rolling basis and if the login portal says all documents were received then they were received but did explain why the decision is taking so long.
Wondering if someone can help me and let me know what to do.
I just called yesterday again, since last time the man wasn’t helpful. I asked to speak with someone and this time someone else picked up and she checked my application and told me what happened. I recommend asking for someone and calling between 9-10.
@FL2018grad I spoke with an advisor who picked up when I called. I believe her name was Yolanda. She was extremely patient and helpful on the phone with everything. Very attentive via email during the whole process as well. She was so kind as well, I felt extremely lucky that I came across an advisor like her
could you post the number of the person you called? I’m not sure how to reach out to an advisor and I’ve been waiting on a decision for a while and while i called and asked if it was because of my residency, the person who picked up said it was not. I still want to talk to an advisor.
@nullgap21 I just called undergraduate admissions, Andre time that helped me get through to someone was when during the menu options I pressed to get through to residency! There’s a realllly long automated recording, but if you wait it out you’ll be connected to someone.
I just called and the woman who picked up told me to email it to the residency department do you know the email for it because I can’t find it anywhere
@Mali909 I actually never received an acceptance email, I just logged in and saw it on my account and then started getting letters in the mail.
@nullgap21 the email is residency@ucf.edu they’re prerty quick with replies, hopefully that works for you as it did for me!! Are you transferring from a fl college too?
