Any other CSE transfer applicants still waiting to hear back from the U? I'm at six weeks since the college received all of my application materials.

And anybody know if the MnCAP program is just for AAs or if ASs count as well (just in case)?

hey I’m applying from a CC under the MNCAP program as well (CLA). I would call the advisor for CSE to see what’s up. I’m pretty sure an ASs is still an associates degree, so yeah it should count and you’ll be fine :)

Same here. Applied to CSE and its been 6 or 7 weeks now and still haven’t heard from them. I also submitted my MNCAP but it was under a different program. Would that still count? Also I don’t have any AS or AA.

I found this sentence on the Office of Admissions’ MnCAP information page:

“Complete the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree or the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum at a participating community college.”

I wrote to the CSE admissions advisor and his response primarily emphasized completing the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. He said that getting an A.S. alone would not fulfill the requirements but getting the A.S. while completing the MNTC would meet the requirements of the program. So, it would appear as though an associate degree is not required.
