empty mailbox......does anyone know if they in fact have mailed decisions or are still working on them?

no mail here either. rejected at usc so lmu is my last chance to move to california for school

Like everyone else, I am STILL waiting for my decision. They sent me an email about 3 weeks ago saying that I did not send my official test scores from college board. However, as I have record of the amount I payed to RUSH my scores there when I first applied, they must have just lost them. But, I sucked it up and RUSHED them again. I called back 2 weeks later to see if they had recieved and they said they had not. The admissions representative that I spoke to said they must have gotten lost in their satellite office. He suggested that I fax my scores from my high school. So I did, and they just sent me a postcard two days ago saying my application was complete. I have basically lost faith in their administration. However, I would still like to know whether or not im in.

I hatteeee waiting.

I just called LMU and they said they sent me a decision through the mail yesterday. Hopefully I recieve tomorrow. Whether or not I got accepted, at least I will FINALLY know!

No mail today. I haven't called the admissions office until today, and while going through options for the admissions, realized they haven't updated their phone message since November. It still is announcing the November Open House.

Couldn't reach anyone. They must not be answering their phones!

haha. I just recieved an email from LMU. It is abot fin. aid and it says I was admitted. I feel dumb for complaining like an hour ago!

I just got through to someone in the Admissions Office and they said that the last of the decisions were mailed today.

now, another wait for snail mail!

i was waitlisted :(
which virtually means you almost made it but you didn't. and i read online that when your waitlisted chances are you don't get in :( so i'm accepting my other college today..

does that mean everyone admitted as received an email of some sort?

I received an email today from LMU that says I'm accepted. And the subject....Patience is a Virtue. I just hope the wait for the financial aid statement isn't as long.

ehhh :/

do you think snail mail=rejection/waitlist?
email=acceptance...

at this point, admissions has been really inconsistent...so i dont know what to expect any more

it seems like that is the pattern, we can only wait and see...

It doesn't seem like LMU would be able to email everyone who got accepted though, just based on the fact that they took so long to make the decisions to begin with. It seems like it would be easier to send the majority of acceptances a letter instead of emailing? But I could be wrong.

with preview day on Sunday, I dont know what I would do if I didnt find out tomorrow!!!!

but it also seems unfair to only send a few emails, and since they took their phones off the hook earlier today it seem they were busying emailing acceptees...hopefully I'm wrong. Also the people who received emails, did you submit the online app or the paper app?

Didn't they say they "didn't send emails"? I guess now they lie too?

A lot of schools have lied to me, I've gotten use to it.

Zacriemaster,

So where do you stand now? What are your other options? Have you heard from them?

All will be forgiven if you get in with a nice big scholarship!

I have to say that after reading about the way that LMU has treated so many of its applicants, I am glad that my daughter has other choices. If you search certain sites, there are comments about problems with LMU's administration. If this is an example, I believe those complaints.

It is too much money to spend on a school and not get topflight treatment.

rejected from USC, still waiting for Chapman, Pratt, and LMU. Writing a pro and con list for UCSB, UCI, and Boston U.
