Stocking Stuffers 2022 - since we’re already talking holiday gifts

KISS imPress press on nails- they are in with the teen & young adult set (go figure…). They come in a huge range & are about $8/ set. Get a $4 bottle of their glue to have on hand while you are at it.

It’s a good size! Can put more than just a key and a phone in it but it’s not bulky. D’s carry those cross body leaning towards front of body.

Just got the hot honey for a friend who is a foodie (and loves spice)

I got my left handed daughter a nice left handed wooden mixing spoon, and left handed spatulas (the silicone kind for scraping bowls). They will go on her stocking.

I didn’t know there were such items available. I’ll need to look.

I am left handed and have never noted that those items (right handed) were hard to use!!!

I too am left handed and have never had a hard time with cooking things. Scissors maybe…

These spoons have an angled handle…definitely better for lefties. My husband approved the purchase (he is left handed). The spatulas…they say Fa La La (there are three). For a leftie, the words are on top. The right handed ones would have the words on the bottom.

I’m lefthanded too and never thought about needing a different spatula or spoon but sounds cute with the words on them. Most of us just suffer in silence with all the stuff geared toward right handed people!

I did buy a Mike’s Hot Honey tote ( hot and extra hot bottles plus a couple little jars and recipe book in a tote ) for about $25 directly from their website for husband and sons. I already gave husband his and we have used it already with roasted brussel sprouts, glazed salmon on the grill, and some pork. We’ve enjoyed it so far so thanks to those here for the tip! The tote is cute and made a nice gift.

Here are some more of my silly stocking stuffers for my fam and two boyfriends (again, my daughters’ boyfriends, not mine!). The zodiac bracelets are beautiful though, imo! Everyone got a Duncan butterfly yo-yo, because everyone should have one!

The tshirts are the boyfriends’ pajama top for our family pajamas. Identical plaid flannel pants are the bottoms. The tshirt theme this year was our names in pop culture. Jeremy Beremy is from the Good Place (time apparently isn’t linear, but in the shape of Jeremy Beremy), Joe Biden is called Dark Brandon when he makes a bold positive decision. I managed to find tshirts with all six of our names in pop culture references!

I found a direct from China website where I could buy cheap junk, but also cute Asian stationary items for incredible prices. I bought some of the same sticky notes on another website at three/four times the price. Don’t judge, I thought they were cute!

The origami strips must be an Asian trend. Apparently, you make tiny stars with them. Each of those strips is a stack of about 50 or so. My daughter teaches 6th graders. I thought maybe they might like to try it during class down times.

Did everything come? Sometimes when I order off of ebay, the stuff is stuck on a very slow boat. I do think a lot of this is cute.

Yes, it is all stuck on a slow boat, but I read reviews that said this was typical. I’ve gotten shipping updates from USPS saying that everything has been sanitized and is on the way, so hopefully it’ll be here soon. Everything was so inexpensive, if it never arrived, I wouldn’t be out much.

Terry’s Chocolate Oranges have always been a tradition in our house. Literally for decades.
My mom dependably bought them when they appeared in the stores because they sell out. Love them. And thanks for the reminder!

I’ll have to remember the site and order early next year!

Just ordered 8 pairs of fun socks - 2 per 4 young adults…for just over $40/free shipping (at $35)

Lots of socks on sale and then another 25% off. I bought a few for $3.15/pair.

Looked for hobby themes for my kids including dogs, beach, artists, countries, women’s rights, etc.

H and I went to Colonial Williamsburg on vacation a few months ago and I bought bottles of their various ales to put in my 3 sons’ stockings. My twins turned 21 this year so that opened up more stocking possibilities. My guiding thought was “these will take up a lot of room!”. They have big stockings and it’s sad when they look droopy. I’ll also add a small jar of Nutella, lottery tickets, some candy, and a bar of fancy smelly “man soap.”
