Stoichometry!!

Can someone break it down? I'm soooooo lost.

give a specific problem, and then I might be able to help :)

N (sunscript 2) 3H (subscript 2) yeilds 2NH (sunscript 3)

What do you need found in that question?

lol sorry

What volume of NH (sunscript 3) is produced if 25.0 g of N (sunscript 2) is reacted with an excess of H (sunscript 2).

(25g N2)/(14*3g/ mol N3)=.6mol N3 (14 is the molar mass of Nitrogen, and the subscript is 3 so we multiply)
N3 +3H2--> 2NH3
Thus the ratio of N3 to NH3=1:2 (the coeficients.) Therefore, there are .62=1.2mol of NH_3. 1 mole occupies 22.4 L at STP. Thus there are 1.222.4=27L (note: i did heavy rounding) Is this coorect?
