Stoke's Educational Scholarship

Apparently this year it got more competitive.
500 applicants.
100 semi-finalists.
13 positions.

I would also like to know about post graduate funding. If anyone could follow up on that is would be greatly appreciated. Like the rest of you have also received the email. I met with a highly credible source on the matter regarding the interview process. The main advice was too just be yourself. If you try to front they will see right trough it. What ever you do, DO NOT lie on the polygraph. Every one has done something that they are not proud of. Just be straight with them and truthful. Also it is excellent to be able to show aptitude in your area of interest, but it is more important to be able to convey to them that you have initiative. Remember you are trying to tell them how you can help the agency, not why you need the job. Hope this helps, and I hope to see you in D.C.

Yeah..
Just tell the truth..
I mean what could we be hiding???
Or atleast what could be that bad?
Could anyone elaborate on the graduate studies thing...
Does NSA let you go to Graduate studies and then come back to NSA..
It would definetely benefit NSA since we would accumulate much more knowledge.
What days are you guys planning on being there?
I think leaving on the 23rd would be the best time.
Ill see you there then if you leave on the 23rd.
I also contacted a very reliable source. He said that we should just be ourselves and stick to one point. For instance if you are planning on Computer Science, DO NOT talk about Computer Engineering. Even if you know a lot about the other side, it shows a lack of direction, something that NSA does not like.
Just stick to your stuff and show them what you can do for NSA.
He said that there were 3 people in a room, all questioning him. So it might get a bit stressful... But then again, the U.S. needs the best of the best...
Anyways good luck to us all!
Can't wait.. its just 2 more weeks!!! can you believe it?
Around the same time when most colleges send out their acceptance/rejection letters.
P.S.
Anyone here use LimeWire or any p2p?
Do you think they are going to ask about it?

Has anyone heard from them yet? How long is the period submission of the SF86 and the phone call to schedule your interview?

I have already had my phone interview.
I have not heard from the Scheduler yet though.
I asked Ms. Clark and she said that it is still with Security.
Probably it is the same predicament for yourself as well.
She said that they needed us in next week, so it should be done asap.
I'd guess we'd get more news by tomorrow or Saturday.

Got an email from a Krista Rockenstire with SI International which is a company that the Agency seems to have contracted to assist in the processing. So who is going in on the 25th through the 28th and who is going on 31st through the 4th?
