Stolen Black Northface Backpack at Covel Dining Hall Around Noon-1PM

<p>Hey guys, I got my backpack jacked at the dining hall today around 12-1pm and I figured it's worth a shot to post on here.</p>

<p>I know there are a lot of generic black, Northface backpacks out there, but if you happen to see any of the following contents, please let me know or report it to UCPD!
-Blue Acer Aspire One netbook with "I'm A PC" sticker on it
-iPod with bulky clear case + black shure headphones
-black external (western digital) hard drive (with power supply)</p>

I use PCs and I use my iPod to listen to music. it’s not like i have a mac and a “i’m a pc” sticker o_O</p>

<p>it was on a backpack rack. on the bottom one near the bathrooms.</p>

<p>it was my first time coming back to a dining hall this whole quarter, too. i would have put it in a locker but i had some other things that couldn’t fit.</p>

<p>oh that sucks, i tend to not put my backpack on the rack at all :frowning: try to have a friend keep an eye on aim or something to see if you logged in and try to video chat him to see who took it… although the chance of that is pretty slim, i turned my chat to auto accept video from buddies incase that happens, just video chat then quickly take a screen shot of the person…</p>

<p>Should have put as much as you could in a locker and the rest you should have carried in with you. Like you’re laptop.</p>

<p>You should NEVER leave a backpack with a bunch of electronics out in the backpack racks.</p>

<p>Someone saw you with all this stuff and they waited till you were gone and came in for the snatch.</p>

<p>well there’s no possible way the thief knew i had a laptop inside my backpack just by looking at it. i didn’t like take it out or anything. but i mean yeah, i will never leave my backpack on the shelf again. and this is a good warning to others not to either.</p>
