they emailed me a while back saying I’m academically elligible for EOP, but i never sent my financial documents since i exceeded the limit. Anyone know if i’d get pushed to regular?
S accepted to SB and Buf (along with good priv school for eng).
Do not hear great things about dorm/campus life at SB,
not anything like a college experience other than being force tripled as freshmen
(which may be no worse than other main SUNY schools, but I heard it was worse at SB).

blevine, perhaps SB put money into resources related to academics. Some SUNY campuses set the priority at upscale residence halls, student centers and upscale admissions offices/building and delay building academic related buildings for decades in favor of new student centers-no lazy rivers though. Apparently some SUNYs may favor academics. I’m actually glad to hear it if that is true. SB is strongest of any SUNY for science. And it is apparently now strongest in humanities too. That used to be its weakness but that is apparently no longer the case. I would guess it helps to be so close to some outstanding research and internship opportunities whereas the isolated SUNYs can’t offer the same.

@anon9362 did they email you? i can’t seem to find if i got WISE or honors college. hoping I get one or the other, otherwise it wouldn’t be worth going to stony instead of bing.

@sosoyumi still waiting on my honors college decision, I am in the west coast. I already know I won’t be attending though.
Are all freshman applications acceptances done? Because last year around this time mostly everyone was wait listed or rejected. I don’t know if freshman applications are done because stony brook is my #1 choice and I did regular decision. If anyone has any insight please lessen my pain! Cause I’m scared right now!

I just checked other forums on college confidential and people were still being accepted till the 25 I think. I don’t know if that was eop or not. @sbuadmissions can you please give insight on decisions and if acceptances are still being sent out for fall freshman applying regular decision. Will really help me calm down because I’m not even sleeping properly anymore! Please help!

@sosoyumii you called them today? And how is that a bad thing? Like they are done or they are sending out the last badge of acceptances? Please clarify!
