Hey Guys,
So I was officially accepted into Garcia about a week ago and I just found I will be going through interviews at both Rockefeller and the JAX labs in CT. I need to respond to Garcia on Wednesday so I’m trying to get my interview for JAX sometime soon. I haven’t heard anything from Rockefeller for the date of an interview.
At this point I have no idea what to pick. Has anyone participated in these programs that can give me some info on their experience or advice on which to go with? Any help would be appreciated!

i’ve also heard favorably from Rockefeller as well, but I think the official results may take a while.
If this is a big issue, ask Garcia for an extension for you to respond.
As for the programs themselves, I’m not that familiar with Jackson but I know it’s quite difficult to get in especially for a high school student.
If polymer science/chemistry is a thing, I suggest Garcia since you would definitely be able to find a fit there. If the biosciences is more of your interest, putting Garcia on hold may be a good idea.
On another note, I do know that Garcia fares very well in Siemens/Intel (though i’m not sure of the other two) so that can also be put under consideration if those competitions matter a lot for you.
