just curious if this is normal… I applied for BIO BS in mid-December (still waiting on a response) and now on the portal in the checklist it has a spot for my mid-term scores…did this happen to anyone?

Has anyone gotten a notification for an interview for Stony Brook Scholars for Medicine BS/MD?
Honestly it randomly updated. I just checked the portal out of nowhere one day

Same, now it shows Mid year report and Mid year transcript. I wonder if Stony requested them.
Just so you know, internationals have a lot fewer opportunities for scholarships (I’m assuming you are one since you got the Global Excellence one). The presidential scholarship, for example, is described as follows: “Domestic students who are currently seniors in high school who have achieved a meritorious unweighted high school average are automatically considered for this four-year scholarship. High school academic program, SAT/ACT scores, co-curricular activities, research experiences, or special talents or skills may also be taken into account. Scholarships vary based on academic qualifications.”

D got in! Let’s get started disappeared from the portal late last night, it just changed to Congratulations tonight. Looks like they like to update their system at night. We are OOS BTW.

Yup, it still says that.
It’s hard to tell since everyone who’s received the decision have had “let’s get started” disappeared first. However, I think it at least indicates that they are actively evaluating your application so my guess is you shouldn’t have to wait for too much longer.
