Yes, they were very generous. I also got into Fordham, they also gave me a very compelling offer. If not for NYU, I’d attend Fordham.

to ask if there was an error? My son first called the admission office. The person who answer only gave the admissions requirement for engineering and referred my son to her supervisor, Assistant or Associate Admissions Officer. He emailed that person and said he was surprised about the rejection, listed the requirements, he met them all and ask for another review.

My son received an email that he was accepted into the Honors College. Does anyone have any first-hand experience with that program? He’s a heavy STEM kid and is specifically interested in access to research projects and internships. Does being in honors help with that? Also is the advising really more comprehensive in Honors? (That is listed as one of the perks on the website.) Thanks for any info you can share!

How did the portal change for you, if you don’t mind me asking?
I just checked and it reverted, the portal went pretty much all white and the top photo banner disappeared.
