Stony Brook University

I was wondering if SBU (got presidential scholarship) is the best school I can get accepted to based on these stats (only my best qualities): ~11/620, 1490/1600, 10/10 essays imo, 9/10 recs imo, math team captain, volunteer at local hospital (100 hrs+), artist (portfolio of 800+ drawings no awards), and interest in picking up odd hobbies.

Because I already have been provided such an amazing scholarship offer from SBU, it’s hard to not commit to the school. Should I commit to SBU or wait for other college decisions (many reaches)? Btw my family income appears to be flexible regarding paying out college tuition ($150K+), so financial won’t be an issue.

Stony Brook is, in general, always the best school, no matter what the parameters.

If finances really are not an issue, I am sure there are many private (and public) schools that would accept you based on your scores. You need to decide what schools you are interested in attending based on what is important to you.

Also keep in mind that what your parents spend on undergrad just may have an impact on what they may be willing to spend for grad!!!
