Stopwatch during test?

Are we allowed to bring a stopwatch during the test as opposed to a watch? I have a stopwatch that makes no noise but I can't use my watches built-in stopwatch because IT makes a noise. So I was hoping they'd let us use a stop watch.

I used a stopwatch for the SAT...granted I kept it half in my pocket most of the time just as a precaution. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter though.

I would say no - from the ACT web site

I stand corrected. I find it odd that they would disallow timekeeping tools, though.
