Is a stopwatch allowed for ACT?

The ACT website says that a wristwatch is fine, I am wondering if a stopwatch would be fine as well. Stupid question I suppose, but without a watch I am doomed on the science section.

Also do you have to bring an answer sheet, with all information filled out, or are you provided with one + time to fill it out at the test site?

Thanks chaps.

As long as the watch doesn't make noise it's fine. However, make SURE the noise feature is turned off. One of the things in the proctor's spiel states that anyone whose watch/calculator/etc. makes a noise during testing would be dismissed and have their answer document destroyed.
Also, you will be provided with an answer sheet at the testing center.

When you start and stop the watch it makes a tiny beep, thats fine right? As long as the alarm does not go off?

I think that would be okay, but I'm not positive. I would like to know the answer to this, too.

From my personal testing experience, a stopwatch that beeps at beginning and end is fine, just so long that an alarm doesn't go off in the middle of the test.

Thanks Shahein :) No alarm should go off, and if one does I will just chuck it across the room, they will never know where it came from! Ha.
