I was actually looking at those too! It really depends on the dorm. I reccommend going on a tour so you can get an idea of what all you have room for.

Get ones without wheels. I have plastic storage containers that look like that that are drawers. You can stack them too!
Plus it's easier to store it when you go back home for the summer.

The Container Store - The Original Storage and Organization Store®

they have a whole section in their store devoted to dorm stuff!

i'm going there soon to get a bunch of things.

It all depends on how much floor space you have in your room. Freshman year my daughter and her roommate bunked their beds for more floorspace to have a beanbag type chair, but lost out on storage. Sophomore year my daughter put her bed up on risers and got these from the Container store -- The Container Store > Shop Drawers > Large Tint Stacking Drawer
She got them in colors that matched her bedding. She has tons of organized storage space.

If you are shopping at the Container Store and you need things now, that's fine. But if you are planning for the future, wait. The Container Store has a one night sale around back-to-school time (exact day varies by store) and EVERYTHING in the store is either 20 or 25% off. Make sure you are on the Container Store mailing list so you get your invite.

weird. My roommate actually has the drawers the OP posted a link to.

While a good idea, don't buy those ones. They're cheap, and the drawers are nearly impossible to pull out. However, something similar would be good, you should have room for something like that.
