Stores near Vassar

<p>Greetings Vassar board! </p>

<p>My cousin is going to be attending Vassar in the fall and I want to get her a gift for her graduation. I was thinking it would be good to get her a gift card she could use at a store near Vassar. Do Vassar students have access to stores like Target or BBB in Poughkeepsie? She won't have a car, so would she be able to take a bus there from campus? Or are there local stores that you might recommend a new student have a gift certificate from? </p>

<p>I recommend Barnes & Noble because that’s the stuff that our bookstore takes. :slight_smile: Target is reachable on the weekends via shuttle. BBB, not so much.</p>

<p>There is a bus that runs to the mall fairly regularly. The stores there are pretty average: target, dicks, best buy, Macy’s.</p>
