<p>This is an interesting statement. Why would you think the Ivies would look at the strength or weakness of your group “as a whole” when making admissions decisions? That is not how it is done. As a group, you may be an impressive bunch of guys. But each individual applicant is considered on his own. You don’t get credit for your friends’ accomplishments.</p>

<p>Everything that had to be said has been said. Time to move on has come. The thread is now closed. Please do not restart it in a slightly different version.<br>
