<p>I know there is a difference between an essay and a narrative.
For one of my essays, half of it is a story of an "academic experience" including dialogue.</p>
<p>is that fine?</p>
<p>wait ur writing a experience and then a conversation between 2 people</p>
<p>my experience includes a conversation with someone.
but a lot of it is part of a story
for example
"When I entered, I was surprised to see that it was medium-sized with walls of a pale grey color and a large conference table in the center. "</p>

<p>i think its fine, as long as it makes sense and isnt hard to follow. i dont think there arent really huge restrictions and things to avoid, people have written in play format and in poems, dont worry :)</p>
