Strategies to tackle Calculus?

Recently, in my Calculus BC class, I have run into an issue. For some reason, I can't seem to get good grades on tests and quizzes, even though I listen during class, do all the homework, make sure my homework answers are correct, and do extra problems. This has been strange because I have always done well in math classes up this point.

I mean...I'm not just regurgitating formulas and I believe I truly understand the concepts and the implications of what I'm doing, but, for some reason, that doesn't seem to be enough to do well on tests.

So do you guys have any advice for tackling Calculus?

Do moar problems — redo all your homework and extra problems again, whilst scrutinizing each problem. Trust me this will help. Then do this again the day before a test and quiz. Winwinwin

Talk to your teacher and see if he/she has any suggestions.

Do more problems; make sure you check your answer and use wolframalpha.com. I usually do the two most difficult problems of each set and I’m set to go. I was one of 6-7 students who got an A last semester.
