Stratford Summer Camp

Does anyone have any info on the summer camp held in Stratford Canada? I really enjoyed my visit to their Shakespeare Festival last year and the summer camp interested me, but I can't find very much info on it (ie. price, application requirements, etc.)

Better call quickly, the deadline for applications is March 4.

Stratford is a wonderful summer program and has a fabulous reputation. It's the largest classical repertory company in North America and its productions are every bit as good as any of those on Broadway. They also have a great summer program for teachers who want to learn how to teach Shakespeare.

Another option for a summer program in the same vein can be found at the Utah Shakespearean Festival. There are many offerings for teens, young adults, teachers, and seniors. The website is : www.bard.org Even if not interested in summer programs, it's a fun web site to look at!

hey! i've went to summer camps at stratford for 3 years now... once for straight-shakespeare, and twice for music theatre... if you have any specific questions just message me and I will be happy to answer any... but it is a really great experience ... REALLY GREAT... I learned a lot, met a lot of amazing professionals and peers, and made some great memories.

well if you are talking about the hs-age summer programs (which I think you are) for a one week session it is 1,000 and 2 weeks it was about 2,000... 1 week sessions are for people under the age of 16 and for the technical theatre program

requirements are pretty much just a letter stating why you're the right person for the program and why you want to do it... i think also a resume.. but not too extensive of requirements~ it sounds like maybe it wouldn't have a lot of talent.... but somehow, some way a lot of talent usually shows up!
