DC auditioned for StrawHat and NETC and made it past the first round. DC thinks of themselves as an actor who sings, and does not believe that they have the versatility to be a true MT performer (consistent leads in operettas/operas but no belt), but will be recording the dance auditions this weekend to see where those might lead. DC received an offer of enrollment in the Stella Adler Summer Musical Theatre Intensive after the first round. Has anyone had any experience with this program? Worth the expense (assuming no summer stock offer), particularly since DC won’t be graduating from a conservatory program? There is remarkably little info about the program on the internet. Any insights greatly appreciated.
