Hey everyone!
There are mainly 5 things that I am really worried about:
1. My counselor only spent like a day on his recommendation for me and I don't know how good it'll be? The other 2 teacher recs were excellent. One focused on all the science I have done while the other focused more on my well roundedness.
2. One of my teachers put 2 clubs into his rec that I didn't have under my common app and I don't even know what clubs my counselor put in his rec so I'm not sure if this inconnsistency will be okay or not. Is it normal for teachers to put what they like about you and you put what you like about yourself?
3. I had 9 activities on my common app, 2 of which were sports, 2 of which were summer research, and several different ones. Does this seem like too much or too varied?
4. I accidentally had a typo in my club that said "Team" instead of "Teen."
5. I accidentally put 115 instead of 104 people in my class?
What should I do now? Will these mistakes hurt my chances?
Everything else about my application is perfect with UChicago and I just don't want these trivial errors to mess up my chances D:
Any feedback is welcomed!

Do your best to stop worrying. You seem to be seeking out things to worry about. You’re fine. These won’t affect your application. Take a deep breath.

My D spelled discipline “disipline” on her Ohio State app., totally underrepresented her extracurriculars and her personal statement was terrible. She was admitted the first day they started giving decisions.
She has a few grammatical errors in her common app essay and received a personal call from head of admissions at a lac specifically commenting on her amazing essay and said it was one of the best she has read in a long time.

She spelled include, incclude and just in general there was a few untidy sentence fragments in her activities section.

She was selected for a huge merit sholarship from another lac and entrance to honors program.

I get the feeling they are looking for content. I don’t think a few tiny errors are that big a deal. Maybe it makes the person more real? I know Chicago is very selective but if your content is solid, your essay is original and you have the grades and scores, please stop fretting. It is what it is.
