Stressed out Yale reject--Chance me!

4.0 UW GPA

2200 SAT I- 760 Reading, 670 Math, 770 Writing

SAT II's US History 800, World History 790, Literature 650

Class rank- 2/65

Many awards and the such

Two great supplementary recommendations from people I know well

Chances for the SAS? I really wish I had applied Georgetown early action now, but it is too late for that!

You're a strong candidate, no doubt, but it's still a toss-up with Georgetown. A week ago I'd say you stand a great shot of acceptance, but after looking at all of the 2250+, 4.0 candidates that were deferred EA, it's hard to say. You still have a decent shot, though.

Keep in mind that Gtown does not consider WRT...

So your SAT is only 1430/1600, so its really a toss up... I don't mean too sound negative, but keep that in mind and don't "expect" to get in for sure... b/c if you don't then it sucks and kills your self-confidence

it depends on what "many awards and such" entails. Can you elaborate on your extra-curicular accomplishments?

Sure guys; thanks for helping me. I love Georgetown and would go there over Yale any day, anyway!

I have some more, but those are the big things that pop up right off the top of my head. Thanks again guys; you all are what makes Georgetown awesome!

I am also from North Carolina, if that helps.

Wow, nice hook. But I dunno...it's Yale.

what school? you put SAS... that could be CAS (college of arts and sciences, typically called COL at georgetown) or SFS (school of foreign service). which one? what major?

CAS

Major is political science/government

I tried to make a common thread throughout

You're in.

I actually get really annoyed by chances, but I just wanted to say good luck from one stressed yale reject/Georgetown hopeful to another.
