That is all of the free money that you are going to get from SUNY unless you can get a scholarship ( your stats will not get you a scholarship at bing.
You still have your $5500 loan. This means now 18k of your expenses are covered.
Do you have work study in your package ?
With the exception of CUNY, you are not going are not going to get a financial aid package with out loans (especially if you plan on going away).
What are your direct costs: tuition fees room and board? Focus on how you are going to get that paid. As I told you in my previous post, if you want to go away, you are going to have to get a job and work like dog, now and over the summer to make up the short fall. .
If you think you are going to get a more generous package from UVM where you will have to pay less, I can sell you the Brooklyn Bridge on the cheap.
If you don’t want to work toward making SUNY happen, if you don’t want to submit a few more SUNY schools through the common app where you can get a fee waiver and you have the possibility of getting some scholarship money, ( you may have to pay for Fredonia because it goes through the SUNY portal ) then my dear you will be attending your affordable option, CUNY (nothing wrong with that)
At the end of the day you are going where your money will take you. You may have to step down a notch at SUNY to get the scholarship you need if you want to go away. You will not get scholarship money at Bing, Stony Brook, albany or UB (SAT scores are too low)
