This is the last college recommendation that I am making to you (after this like shark tank, I am out) :
Toss an application this weekend to SUNY ESF through the common app.
They are directly across the street from SUNY Upstate Medical Center (which will provide you opportunities to ob shadow and do research as a pre-med student), while being next door to Syracuse University (where you can take up to 15 credits at Syracuse without paying extra). They have some great dorms with some amazing stickley furniture.

Then you are going to see your counselor first thing Monday so that s/he can grovel to to your ESF regional admissions person to ask if you can still be considered for a scholarship because your application is late (was due on 2/1)
If you can get him/her to do some heavy duty groveling, find out if you can be considered for the joint BS/MD program (you have the stats). The deadline for this is right before we left for regents. While you are not from a rural community, the school is trying to recruit more down state kids.
