<p>do colleges look at grades from your sophmore year really closely or they just look at if you failed any classes... i need answers fast. i'm constantly going to come back to this post, so guys please HELP!!!!</p>
<p>Yes, they look at all your grades. After all, ALL of your grades count towards your cumulative GPA. I take it that it didn’t go very well?</p>
<p>noooo!!! i failed a math course… my teacher was an idiot. i know im whinning but 5 minutes before our final he told us something that was going to be on the final and nobody had a clue what he was talking about. Is it okay if i write an additional essay and explain to the college what happened like i was immature too</p>
<p>Yes, I would recommend mentioning it in an essay. Of course, if all your other grades are great it’ll be easier to explain it away.</p>
